Storybase needed advanced features that were far from standard. The platform had to transcribe audiobooks, support voice-based AI chats, and keep all interactions limited to the author’s content. Holden also wanted a native app and smooth performance across devices. He needed a team that could deliver all this fast, without cutting corners.

Million Labs built Storybase using no-code tools. They developed an AI assistant trained only on the author’s book, blocking any outside data. They also integrated OpenAI’s Realtime API using WebRTC. This let users speak directly with the AI and receive thoughtful, relevant replies in real time.
